9380 was the only restaurant accepting reservations for 14 people on new years eve. That should've been a sign.
There was one other large group there but otherwise the restaurant was empty. They had the regular menu of burgers and chicken sandwiches and two specials for new years. One was halibut with risotto and the other was prime rib. A lot of the group ordered the prime rib and most were not asked how they liked it cooked. Be sure to specify if they don't ask. I ordered the halibut and although it was flavored well, it was overcooked.
The food was brought out extremely slowly with about 3 plates at a time. They forgot when we ordered drinks and we had to ask for them two or three times to get it.
This place is not equipped to handle big groups. The food is not worthy of a return. For the same price, you could visit a really good restaurant in town.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Michael S.Denver, CO3281461Jan 13, 2018Updated review
It just keeps getting worse here. Now they don't even give you a menu and make you go online to order your food for the dining! And, no more served breakfast. The only option is a poorly stocked self-serve buffet for $20 with drink and tax. Ouch!

Christian AJan 19, 2015Previous reviewWhile the location is stunning, the service, menu and execution needs a lot of work. Each time I've sat down on the patio, it has taken over 10 minutes just to get a menu. The patio is usually crowded but it's tough to ever find a server. If you're thirsty, your best bet it to go right up to the bar, get a drink or two and then grab a table -- that'll save you about 30 minutes.
The menu is pretty basic with a lot of fried food. Very unmemorable with no signature dish. How about grabbing two European ski area specialties like Savoie Tartiflette and/or Veal Goulash with spaetzle?
At least the view is nice or otherwise there'd be no reason to go. - Jenna J.Fruita, CO1301367Jul 26, 2017
Went today for lunch after biking all morning. Very limited lunch menu but my friend and I each found something we like...he got wings, I got a smoked chicken sandwich. The decor Great, beautiful views from the patio and food tasted good.
Two negatives - 1. Fries should come with the sandwiches, they were extra. 2. Why is gratuity automatically added? I would have tipped more than 18%.
Robert was our server, he was great.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This is literally the first post I ever made. I am celiac and I specifically asked the server if the empanadas were gluten free (because they were labeled as gluten free); he said yes. He had no idea. Long story, short he had no idea, the menu was entirely mislabeled. After I ate them and realized that it was highly unlikely that they were GF I made him Ask the manager and they were not. And I spent the next 2 days of
My vacation miserably ill.
The service was abysmal. We actually had to go to the bar because our server was so bad he didn't ever come back. On the plus side they comped our gluten full
Meal, small price to pay to spend your entire weekend sick in a bathroom.

I recently attended a speed ice sculpting contest on the deck of 9380 Prime. While I have never had dinner here, I must say that it is a great place to grab a drink. Accessible from Mountaineer Square, this lounge is just steps away from the slopes. The ambiance is trendy and upscale, and the hostess is one of the sweetest person I have ever met.
1 star off: some of the outdoor warming lamps didn't work, so there were many frozen butts, including mine, which is still thawing...brrrHelpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 29, 2013
My family and I ate at 9380 in July, granted it's the off season but the service proved the rule that the quality of service is inversely proportional to the number of patrons. Very few people in our case and the service was not unfriendly but seemed untrained and largely incompetent. We ordered items we never got and which we were double charged for; the waiter never showed up so the host had to take our order, even then neither of them ever looked over to see if we needed anything, I ordered my own hot sauce from the bar.
As for the food, take for example the pork sliders and fish tacos. If I made these at home, put them in the fridge overnight then re-heated them in the microwave, I could have made them better than the ones served at 9380. Oh, and the fire-pit kept going out and causing a cloud of natural gas, we had to ask them to turn it off on account of the smell and the safety hazard. I'd give the restaurant one star but again, the service was not condescending, at least they have that going for themHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Molly W.Denver, CO13720Feb 11, 2017
We walked in at 2pm (not prime time) looking for a quick bite and a beer, as they have an awesome location and great view of the mt.
Half the restaurant was empty.
We decided first to pee (priorities ya know?!) but as we walked to the left of the bar to search for the rest room we were stopped by a hipster waitress and were told that side (the empty one) was for "reso's only"....
Well, I'm sorry pretentious hipster bar, we will be going elsewhere.
Try the avalanche bar for your lunch stop. Much happier place.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott H.Huntington Beach, CA2127296Mar 23, 2016
It is a convenient place to eat and yes the service fluctuates but the location is epic and the drinks are delicious. The snow cat is grooming the snow as I sip an O'Dells IPA. It's all good! The muffuletta was delicious and the truffle fries were a great attempt at a unique fry topping combination.

We sat at the outside bar and the bartender was friendly and efficient. He even put on a soccer game for us that we were hoping to catch, which was awesome.
I had the reuben and my husband had the tacos. Both were good but the reuben has a little too much bread. I did ask if I could get only one layer and the bartender told me it would probably still come out with both layers... not the end of the world but I was trying to save food I wouldn't be able to eat. We had a couple of beers while there as well and the weather was awesome.
My major complaint is that we visited at the end of August.... and when we returned home the charge for this place was definitely pending as a transaction on our account because we went through all of our receipts when we got home and made sure everything matched up- as we always do. Today, October 17th, the charge is pending to come out of my account. That's pretty annoying. I just checked and they never wound up charging me back in August for whatever reason so I'm not being double billed- but I don't feel like a restaurant should be able to charge you nearly two months after you visit them! There's no way the charge wouldn't have gone through before at any fault of our own because we never let our accounts get low like that....so why are they just now charging us? This is unacceptable. I don't especially love seeing a $60 charge two months after I thought I paid for something.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
