The $450/person fee includes transportation from Crested Butte to the snowbound warming hut, all-day snowcat skiing on the powdery slopes in the Irwin area (about 11 miles west of Crested Butte) and a catered lunch. The website is csirwin.com (it's supposed to be up and running this week). Or you can book through Crested Butte Mountain Guides. If you try the snowcat skiing, let us know how it is. I'm curious.
